Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Developer to join our remote technical team in a role that combines deep EBS expertise with modern Oracle technologies. As a key member of our development team, you'll lead critical initiatives focused on modernizing and enhancing our Oracle application ecosystem. Your primary focus will be working across Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.13), Oracle Application Express (APEX), and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) environments, where you'll drive the migration of AFSFMS reports from OAS to APEX while maintaining and enhancing existing applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, and Financials modules, requiring your expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and XML technologies. We're looking for a technical specialist who can work independently, potentially lead technical teams, and bring at least 8 years of hands-on development experience to help shape our Oracle technology landscape.
The candidate performs the following specific assignments:
  • Lead the migration of AFSFMS reports from OAS to APEX
  • Design and develop solutions within Oracle EBS R12.2.13
  • Maintain and enhance existing OAS and EBS applications
  • Create and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL programs
  • Develop custom forms, reports, and interfaces
  • Implement integration solutions between Oracle products
  • Provide technical leadership on development projects
  • Create technical documentation and specifications
  • Support production issues and performance tuning
  • Mentor junior developers and review code
  • Collaborate with functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts
 Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle development
  • Advanced expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and XML
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x
  • Proven experience with Oracle APEX development
  • Strong background in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
  • Experience with EBS Payroll, HR, Benefits, and Financials modules
Experience Desired:
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud configuration and setup
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Background in federal or government sector projects
  • Previous remote work experience
  • Agile development methodology experience
  • Experience with cloud migration projects
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
