Job Description:
SimIS, Inc seeks an Experiment and Wargaming China SME to coordinate external subject matter expertise on China in support of designated projects, ensuring alignment with ACT’s tiered approach to leverage knowledge across NATO and relevant external entities. Assist in developing, coordinating, and advising on the implementation of Warfare Development Agenda (WDA) Lines of Delivery focused on strategic/operational challenges associated with China. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging threats, adversarial strategies, and technological advancements to inform the Red Team’s activities and support NATO’s decision-making processes. ACT is NATO’s leading agent for change: driving, facilitating, and advocating the continuous improvement of Alliance capabilities to maintain and enhance military relevance and effectiveness of the Alliance.

Experience Required:
- 5 years’ experience in corporate, government or academic environment analyzing international relations.
- 5-10 years of experience working with international teams.
- 5 years’ experience in project management.
- Demonstrated research experience in an accredited academic institution or organization.
- Published work that demonstrates knowledge of Chinese regional political / geopolitical, human, and economical issues.
Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required:
- Master’s Degree in international relations or similar
- Demonstrated fluency in Chinese Mandarin.
- Having lived, worked, or studied in China.
