Job Description:
The ideal candidate is an expert-level SaaS technologist responsible for developing proposal technical responses for Oracle HCM, ERP, and EPM opportunities.  As an Oracle SaaS SME, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Manager focuses on supporting multiple, simultaneous technical efforts ranging from 1-12 months in length and dealing with Oracle SaaS Applications (HCM, ERP and EPM).  This position generates the technical proposals that demonstrate our customers expertise, value add, and differentiators for implementing Oracle SaaS in the Public Sector market. This role responds to questions around SaaS implementation, training, change management, project management, implementation methodology and overall technical approach. As a key member of our business development team, the Oracle SaaS Presales Solutions Architect is responsible for producing high-quality, customized proposals that effectively communicate our capabilities, solutions, and value proposition to government agencies and public sector organizations. This role operates independently, providing the most complex technical solutions for customers as a recognized authority in this discipline.

The candidate performs the following specific assignments:
  • Develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure on IaaS and PaaS platforms.
  • Assists in the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy.
  • Incorporates security management and privacy requirements into cloud hardware, software, and applications.
  • Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization.
  • Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
  • Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.
  • Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms.
  • Provides technical leadership for work products and the team through knowledge in the area of specialization.
  • Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.  
  • Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Be able to contribute to complex aspects of a project.  
Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related field with a concentration in Radio Frequency (RF).
  • At least ten (10) years of post-college full-time experience.
  • At least eight (8) years of post-college full-time experience with SaaS (software as a service).
  • At least three (3) years of experience working on Federal Government team.
Experience Desired:
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, contractors and senior level staff.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining long-term and strategic objectives to ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied in future years.
  • Demonstrated experience tailoring complex technical ideas and concepts to be communicated to a range of audiences in briefing and reports
Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required/Desired:
  • Certified Cloud Architect is preferred.
