Job Description:
SimIS, Inc. seeks an on-call General Laborer to support daily operations of the SimIS Intelligent Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory. This role keeps the lab organized, clean, and ready for engineering work by moving equipment, maintaining inventory, and handling general facility tasks.

The candidate performs the following specific assignments:
  • Move, stage, and set up lab equipment
  • Lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Organize and maintain lab storage and work areas
  • Assist with inventory counts and tracking of equipment and materials
  • Perform routine cleanup of lab and work spaces
  • Paint and perform light facility upkeep
  • Use hand and power tools as needed
  • Perform other general labor tasks as assigned
Experience Required:
  • Must Have a HS Diploma
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis
Experience Desired:
  • Pallet jack operation experience
  • Forklift license
  • Experience using hand and power tools
