Job Description: The ideal candidate serves as a senior-level technical resource responsible for maintaining computer system continuity, providing advanced technical support, and ensuring optimal performance of computing assets. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer service excellence to support our customer's technology needs. The candidate performs the following specific assignments:
Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
Manage new hire system setups and equipment deployment
Monitor and maintain IT inventory and asset management systems
Handle escalated support tickets and complex technical issues
Document technical solutions and maintain knowledge base
Implement preventive maintenance procedures
Support infrastructure projects and system upgrades
Provide after-hours support as needed
Experience Required:
Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
3-5 years of progressive IT support experience
Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience with help desk ticketing systems
Hardware repair and maintenance expertise
Experience Desired:
Experience with Oracle Cloud configuration and setup
Ability to travel to DoD sites as needed
Experience with DoD documentation requirements
Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations
Understanding of cybersecurity requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
