Job Description:
SimIS, Inc seeks a Business Continuity Management Specialist to assist the NATO ACT Business Continuity (BC) Staff Officer in maintaining the HQ SACT Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) based on the NATO BCMS Policy and International Standards outlined in ISO 22301 and ISO 22313. Assist the BC Staff Officer in performing risk, threat, and dependency analysis to identify unacceptable levels of risk and single points of failure. Assist the BC Staff Officer with the development and upkeep of BC Plans and Crisis Management Plans. ACT is NATO’s leading agent for change: driving, facilitating, and advocating the continuous improvement of Alliance capabilities to maintain and enhance military relevance and effectiveness of the Alliance.
Experience Required:
5 years of experience as a Technical Manager, Team Leader, Instructor or Auditor in Business Continuity Management.
Update Business Continuity, Emergency Action, Incident Management policy and training material to meet organizational needs.
Integrate Emergency Action Plans (EAP), Computer and Information System (CIS) Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and Incident Management Team (IMT) Pre-planned Responses (PPR) as part of comprehensive BC plan implementation.
Maintain a document review schedule; keeping records of training, testing, exercising, and lessons learned from events; recording BC Working Group (BCWG) agenda, decisions, and outcomes; and other documentation requirements.
Special Skills/Knowledge/Training Required:
Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.
Certification or documentation of Business Continuity training.
Certification in Risk management.
